I'd check the temp requirements of the Rasboras, I seem to recall that they like it cooler then the Zebs (22-24*C rings a bell).

I can quote my own experience - 8 L333's (4M/4F) 7 caves 1 year and over 500 fry Currently 3 males in caves guarding them fiercly (the other male has taken a proper beating trying to nab a cave from the boss) 4 females all fit to pop and frantically trying to find a suiter. Soon to be 3 males fannin...

My Caves In Action These are the caves I make, a number of local breeders of L333's and L046 use them with great success, my L333's seem to like them too (theres always 1 male fanning eggs) £5 a pop, postage is dependant on weight. 1 zeb cave and packaging is ~800grams, if you go to Royalmail.com y...

Low kH and peat = low pH and the chance of pH swings Pure RO and peat = low low low pH and the certainty of pH swings at every water change, or every eavening if you have plants to. Just acclimatise the fish to your water and then keep the perameters stable, easy peasy. Just out of interest, what ar...

gH is not the only thing that affects TDS PPM. Any substance that is in solution will increase the PPM/uS reading. A TDS meter works by measuring the conductivity of the water (by running a small electrical current between two probes) the more dissolved substances in the water, be that calcium carbo...

(Vizla's are nice dogs to) We use to have one of those, very similar to a Weimaranerbut smaller and a different colour! Both breeds are very loyal pets, but as they are pedigree'sthey are completely batty (inbreding at its best/worst) I had a copy of the Vislas lineage, there was one dog that poppe...

Nice Christmas prezzie civicr! The wife and I got a Weimaraner for our birthday earlier in the year. He's a rather handsom chap called Kaiser. (He was 1 earlier in the month) He is very big for the breed, at 29" to the shoulder and 33kg, but he is very well proportioned and has so much energy y...

2 old L46's, and now 8 juveniles, well they are not going to make that great a display.

I don't know Dave, I'd happily look at an empty tank knowing that there were some Zebs in there :D .
