I havent posted on here for awhile...but here is my situation... I have a 45 gal tank that holds about 9 adults . I believe there are just one breeding pair. One of my sub-adults was upright the other day and i thought it was wierd as he was breathing fine........so when i came home he was fine.......well yesterday he was upright again so i put him in a fry trap to observe him and he still has not turned over???!!! :shock: He is still alive and is breath...

Hey there bro! They like pretty much anything! To be honest they are hardy fish! as long as they are feed right and you have a good routine of water changes and what not! I personally keep a sand base but you dont have to. This is the tip of the iceberg and i think you need the whole weekend to view...

There are not too many plants that thrive in a warm tank.....IMO, they might stay alive for awhile but eventually die....and of course this is w/o CO2... What i do is feed them grinded up carnivore pellet food and let disperse throughout the whole tank once i turn off the lights, that way it falls everywhere along the floor of the tank,,,the downside is you need to increase your water chages and gravel cleaning! but you will notice your zebs belly in...
