Adding New Zebras-Oregon-USA
I had eight zebras a year ago or so that were breeding. I lost two and they have not bred since. I have the six adults remaining in a planted and graveled 55 at 84 degrees. Large chunk of bogwood, two sponge filters, one whisper, a water pump and lots of caves. I plan to purchase three more adults i...

Nice pictures of zebs, can anyone tell me why you all think they are either male or female? I have 10 adults that were in three groups before two others died. I put them all in one 30 long to treat them for worms and it seems to have been the problem and cure. They bred before and I would like to pu...

I have a major problem and that is with my adult zebras. A couple of days ago I noticed some of the adults were hanging around out in the open acting lethargic. I have three tanks of zebras and one tank was the one with the problem. I lost two a couple of days ago, one last night and two are in a ho...

I was going to say "ship them" but then I noticed your are in the UK. Over the past couple of years in my transformation from 35 years of raising guppies to plecos and corys I have been enthralled by all the hype re: zebras. I even flew to Chicago and Las Vegas to pick some up. I now have ...

I have had them in the past and would again if I could find any breeding info on them. I believe I have heard they breed in captivity. They are probably my favorite pleco. With regard to lack of replies, a few months back I posted asking for info re: L-287/400 and out of over two hundred views I got...

Pleco Fry
I asked a question in this forum a while back as to removing zebra pleco fry from the adults and at what age. What about other types of plecos? I have L-333's, 260's and bristlenose. Any problem removing them and at what age?

Zebra Fry
I appreciate the response from all of you. I guess my only concern is the older fry attacking the newborns. Must not be a problem. Also, showing my ignorance I don't know what a snub nose is with regard to fry. Sounds like they swim real fast and crash into the side of the tank or a rock and flatten...

How are your plecos coming? I just had my first spawn from one group I have of L-46's and my L-260's are very prolific. Can't seem to get my L-287's to spawn. Any tips? Thanks,

Hatching
Hallelujah, praise the Lord, pass the ammo!!!!!!!!!!! I have my first hatching of my zebra plecos. The whole key for me: don't even think about breeding them, feed em, change their water, keep the tank clean and leave them alone and when they're ready they will do the job. Don't know how many yet, i...
