Hello again

Hello everyone. It's a long time since I looked at this forum and it's great to see so many people now have Zebras which are breeding. I wrote a report about eight years or so ago which I think used to be on here somewhere about my experiences of my Zebs breeding. I still have the same fish now but ...

Juwel 180

I have recently upgraded my tank and now have a spare Juwel 180. Before it goes to the tip is anyone interested in it. I live in the Welwyn Garden City area.

Yes I know, I read this. Sounds terrible.

I have to say though that I've been using Eheim Thermos for years with no probs. I do agree though that it would make sense to use two small heaters instead of one big one.

Eheim pro 3 filters

Hello All

Does anyone know if the above filters have heaters built in? Also, does anyone have any experience of these filters, are they recommended?

Many thanks.

If you do get in contact with him though I imagine he/she would be very interested as I spoke to Wildwoods a couple of weeks ago as they wanted some zebras and they kind of knew I had some. Firstly they told me they weren't interested and they only wanted fish at 2" minimum (that's a lie consi...

Congratulations on finding more fry. No sure why you can't post the pictures yourself though, considering someone has gone to the trouble of telling you how. It's not up to others to do your work. Plastic Mac That's very true, but I'm only asking and no one has to volunteer. I know it might be a la...

New home for Zebras

Hello All After weeks of worrying about it I've finally moved my 'herd' of Zebras to a new home. My Rio 125 was starting to look cramped so I bought a Rio 180 to allow more floor space for my fish. Having set it up some days ago with a matured filter I always managed to find an excuse to delay the m...

I'm no expert on this but I always leave fry in the tank for a lot longer than this. The adult fish are better at rearing fry than I am.

Wildwoods shop on Crews Hill

Hello All

Wildwoods sometimes has a supply of young Zebs for sale. I'm told they get them from a local breeder. Does the person who supplies Wildwoods post on this forum?

Many thanks.

I would still be VERY careful about feeding bloodworm at this size. I have lost fish this size to bloodworm!
