Also keep eye on the temperature. Fry require higher temp like 29-30C.

Re: Calcium(?) stone

Calcium stones can raise pH and KH. Unless your water is acidic may be less than 6 you may use it. Or you don't do frequent water changes it may help to maintain pH as reduced by acids generated by Nitrification process. Otherwise no extra benefit from it.

Should check water parameters and temp. They are really too beautiful to loose like that.

Re: Feeding

Hi,
I'm feeding Repash Meat Pie and they love it. Need to prepare one time and then freeze and use daily.
But well worth of money since 1 portion become 4 portion after prepare. Also free of fillers and binders.

You can try http://www.repashy.co.uk/

Cheers

Re: new fish

You can put eggs to a external breeder box with airlift or use floating breeder box. That way eggs/fry are in same tank as parents hence lower the casualities. Frequent water changes will help to maintain clean water.
Good luck.

Re: My L46 tanks

They are quite adaptable but as keepers we should try to mimic biotope as much as possible.

Wow TTA,
I was shocked to read that level of detail. It may put us to think in a different way about 46 tank setup.
Thanks for sharing it.
