I also breed Bristle nose and keep a few in my large Zebra tank for just that reason. They do not bother anybody and keep my 108gallon spotless. They stay 4" or less too.

Brine shrimp are always a goog choice too. They stay alive and in suspention for a few hrs too. Shrimp are almost total protien and ...

7.5 is not bad at all. What is your hardness likeÉ The safest way I know to lower ph is with an external filter full of Peatmoss. You will also get a tea color too.

Water to soft.
I know I should not complain but my tap water is to soft. From tap it is 6.5 ph and no readable carbinates at all. Very close to rain water and does not change over the seasons. I would like to know what others do to bring UP the hardness.

Hey Fluffy. Love the name too. I don't agree with the no no crowds on cohabitation. I keep a few small Bristle nose and 7 Farowellas with my 7 Zebras in a 135 gallon. Bristlenose are good but The farowellas are Better by far. I also include plants in all my tanks and the Fs are always busy and very ...

Re: any pics of what a pregnant female zebra looks like?
Mine is about the same. They are in a 30g tank so I am thinking of doing 5-10 gallons of RO water a tad cooler than the tank water and during a thunder storm. I have tried all sorts of trick with these guys! I have even used a watering can to put in new water after a water change so its more like r...
