According to the L-Number Catalogue on PlanetCatfish, the only species of Ancistrus which comes from the middle Xin...

I read from some forum saying that their pleco died due to bloat, could be internal parasites, so just keep monitor your zebs make sure things are under control :) No not feeding them hikari mate , they spawned 3 weeks ago and s...

Re: Yeahhh, my first spawn

Congrats :D I have also had good news yesterday I found five fully formed babies in my cave didn't see any eggs at all totally out the blue , unfortunately I didn't get to see the hatch like you , the babies are only about 1cm long and all the sacs have dissapeared so I guess they're about 2-3 weeks...

Re: Algae

Thanks for all the replies the algae has now gone I keep the tank dark most of the day and just have the lights on for 4 hours a day. Re: Algae

Algae is 99% of the time to do with light (my light is only on for about 6-7 hours due to the fact i have a few plants in my zebs tanks) and water conditions! over feeding to much waste ect! and a big cause which few pepole check for is phosphate! which can often come from your tap water! I used to...

Re: Algae

I never have any algae but I don't have lights on my tank, just put one on for maintenance. Not sure there is anything that will eat the algae in a tank that is warm enough for zebs :dunno: I know the L144 would do an awesome job in no time but would it survive the temps am not sure sure. That's ou...
