Color seems to be coming back on the little guy or gal. Hopefully, things are get...

Day 8 of Melafix treatment from surgery
Today was the 8 th day after the Melafix treatment fish looks to fattened up a little. However looks still very pale in color. While during the 25% water change I noticed red worms in the water and possibly one was attached to the fish. I'm wondering the paleness of the fish and the worms would mean...

Took a needle and soaked it in vodka to sanitize it. Then took the need and poked the cyst and using the tip of ...

When the fish are at about 6 to7 cm wouldn't there be enough Odontode growth on the gills and pectoral fins to give some one a good educated guess? In pics 1 and 2 I thought I saw gill whiskers that touch the pectoral fins. Plus, the hair growth on the pectoral fins seems pretty thick to me. However...

Saul, The reason why I told you I am going else where is because you would not guarantee the next fish you send me are females. Am I suppose to pick a fish from the pics and your going to send that specific fish. You told me you had hundreds. Plus the pics you sent me were too hazy, for my novice ey...

quick Update
Well it's been about 4 weeks now. From what I can tell the trio are doing okay. No sunken stomachs, I still don't see them much :( but that seems to be the case from what I've been reading. Should be getting some red cherry's next week, hopefully people will at least stop asking "Where's the fi...

Hi from Michigan.
Just pick up my first juvi L46 zebras 2F and 1F. They are absolutely beautiful fishes, just wish they weren't so shy, wife says I got a pet log. Had these guys for a week now.
