Well, the die off seems to have stopped since I replaced the filter media and treated with prime. Maybe there was something in the water that the carbon removed? I'm hoping that was the end of it. The remaining fry are vigorous and I saw them all in front of the tank eating from some sinking pellets...

Drinking a Martini to Celebrate...
Well, 14 months after I got my 1st set of zebs I was rewarded with my 1st spawn. Unexpectedly. I was sitting at my computer and happened to look at my zebra tank and OMG what is that on the front glass? A 1/2" zebra fry!!! I don't even know which pair spawned. My largest zeb is about 3" so...

Sorry to hear about this unfortunate issue with Imer... He used to contact me regularly, but recently I have heard little from him and in his last communication he told me he was sick and in the hospital. If this is true I would assume he will work things out when he is better, but I'm not sure what...

Interesting... I was browsing his website and noticed the same thing. Are we looking at 3 seperate species here? This is what I thought was an LDA33 that I purchased from my LFS about a year ago. Note the white spots on the top and bottom of the caudal fin: http://www.plecofanatics.com/gallery/data/...

I did get my zebras finally. Most of the delay was because I relocated to Phoenix, which does not have a direct flight from FRA. I also spent some time in corporate housing so I did not set up the tank immediately. After I received my fish Imer seemed legitimately happy and relieved. The complexitie...

Well, I just sent Imer payment for 8 zebras. I'm excited... A bit worried about the shipping. I will be in Phoenix, AZ (moving from Portland this month). Not sure if I should do airport pickup at LAX (direct flight from germany, but 5 hour drive, but I can bring lots of tank water + a thermofilter i...

I am interested in a breeding colony. Just had a few questions for you...

2) What is the price for 6 in USD?
Thanks,
Pacific
