Re: Hello

Welcome to the site. L046 can do that to ya. I fell in love with them when I saw my first about 10 years ago. Good luck with the pair you have and good luck in acquiring your next.

Re: Anybody have an easy way of catching fry without

I had the same issue catching my L400 and L450 fry in my heavily rock and cave tanks. I solved the problem by taking a 16 oz empty water bottle, cutting off the top 2" or so. Then invert the top into the bottle, drop a little food in it, and submerge it. I can catch upwards of 20 fry in a single ove...

Re: Tips??

Not much you can do will get them out - safely. How old are the fish ? Once they are close to maturity, only the males will stake out caves, the females may go in to hide, but they will not usually stay there. The females will more likely hang around the caves that the males are in. Hope this helps....

Re: Fruits

I have never tried fruits, but mine will not touch zucchini. They will go for some shelled and mashed peas (as will all my fish) once in a while. And frozen bloodworms - I use the minis. Let us know how the fruit works out. Good luck.

Re: Frozen lobster eggs?????

To my knowledge, you cannot buy frozen lobster eggs here in the states. I have tried for over a year. UK has them, and I believe Ocean Nutrition makes them, but they are not available for purchase in the U.S. Good luck.

Go to PlecoWorld.org and look for member stuby (Chuck). He makes great caves at great prices. He is in Michigan. Good luck.

Re: Feeding

Like TTA says, I use all those foods except Moina, and none of them float.
