Re: Is this a fair price?

Others sell this fish for $750+. When someone tells you in their ad how much others are charging for this fish, you can tell it's BS maneuver to justify the exorbitant amount they are asking. The fair market value is not a low price for these fish and will vary from region to region but there are a...

Looking for Zebs on Western Coast Vanc./Seattle areas

Hello, I'm in edmonton AB but will be travelling to Vancouver in May08. I'm looking to purchase a few zebras while out on the coast. I'd like to see the fish in person before purchase so I'd like to find sellers who can meet with me when I come into town.

Re: zeb

if it was me id not be paying anything like that for a zeb even if there was £100 knocked off.id rather wait find some cheaper 1s over the net and collect in person. Agreed. Paying ridiculous prices like that on encourages other vendors to raise their prices. These fish are being bred in captivity ...

I wouldn't take the risk with cardinals or neons due to Neon Tetra Disease. It's an ailment that affects these widely farmed little tetras. I wouldn't want to risk keeping fish as expensive to replace as zebras with risky cheap fish. The rummynose are perhaps a better choice.

Xingu water

I have noted how many of you who are keeping the L-046 seem to be fanatical about your water parameters. From reading on this forum, I've noticed the xingu ph levels to be around 6.5-6.9. The water in my locale is an average of 7.0. What I'm wondering is what does the water acutally look like in the...

Hello From Edmonton AB

Hello!

I've got one zebra and want to acquire more. I was fascinated by these guys from the first time I saw them. I'll be looking to start breeding them eventully but the prices are so currently so prohibitive. I also keep Bristlenose and bushynose ples as well as clown plecs.
