It ain't over till the fat lady sings..
Hi She is a persistent little thing. The oldest and biggest female. Why waiting of an invitation, when you can enter yourself? This is the 3rd day where she trap him. She tries to get in the back of the cave. Show is going on. He managed to escape twice. He just had two spawns in a row and probably ...

Hi
I know No problem at all.
I just realized it wasn't that clever *smile*. Now I have reason to do some more filming.

Re: How shy are the zebras really?
Hej Anders
No - not really. I always empty the caves of the males and remove the fry to another tank.
The chances of catching little zebras in that tank is zero.
What we see - are the breeders and one-year old coming-breeders.
Best regards

Re: My 600 L zebratank
Thank you very much  Well, I sure hope they do. But they did before in this tank, and lately a couple a weeks ago. This setup is very new. I presume, as long as the females have their George-Glooney male - they will breed :D But I made some stress for them - changing the tank. The caves are th...

My 600 L zebratank
Hello fellow zebralovers Just wanted to show my latest setup. Hope you'll like it. It's a 600 L tank naturally with zebras, a lot of Parotocinclus sp. "Recife", few C. Sterbai, and Tetras. I never before had so much fun and enjoy watching my zebras. They are behaving completely different i...

Re: Number of males to females?
Hi Stevie I have a similar Tank with 600 Litres and I also introduced a large zeb colony. It works great. They settled in very well and act more naturally. They even seem less shy. Though I chosed this sommerperiod for changes, they already spawned a couple of times. So I think, you will enjoy your ...

Hello He has probably Argulus in the gills too. Sunken Eyes, and belly - fast breathing isn't good. Sorry to say, it can be difficult to get them back to life. But not impossible. And he has to fight the poison from these lice, and even perhaps secondary infections from the wounds. He is having diff...
