McEve, I had not long had the zebras when I was looking into UPS' and they were expensive back then. Do you remember how paranoid I used to be about them? I think I'll have a look at what the prices are like now. About the unruly teenagers, they are yours if you want them. There's one slight snag th...

@ McEve, I'm glad to hear that you will be able to recover from this tragedy. By the way I was thinking, I have a group of unruly teenage zebs here that are always fighting and making a mess. I am also rather concerned about teenage pregnancies. Seeing that you are aunty to all baby zebras on ZP how...

Oh my good god, I'm really sorry to hear about this tragedy McEve, I too use the Eheim Pro 2128's on all my zebra tanks. Maybe I have just been lucky so far. As a safeguard I am looking into some other options at the moment. Once again I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of the zebras....

Worming Zebras.

I have been using a product that seems to be quite promising. You can also combine other treatments with it as well, such as broad spectrum bacteriacides. I have just finished a course of the wormer and Interpet No 9 combined. It is also effective against flukes and protozoan parasites. The active i...

Welcome back John, hope you had a great time. It's good to hear that the zebs are all doing well and that the male has spawned again. :D

Keep us posted on the Almond leaves, I use them in my shrimp only tanks but I haven't put them in the zeb tanks yet.

Regards.

I have been following this thread over at Planet Catfish for a while now. This chap from Norway has an amazing looking zebra tank, it has caused quite a stir over at PC. What's more he has another Two 700 litre tanks in the pipeline, can't wait to see what he manages to do with them. Lets hope he fi...

Hi siming1, Tetra prima is a good food for zebras, frozen foods are also a good choice. The various foods by ZM Ltd are very good especially for raising fry because of their high protein content. I try to keep my zebs on a varied diet, I made the mistake early on of feeding only frozen foods. They g...

Hi Bonsai, I haven't but my brother rather likes large crustaceans. He has had some rainbow crabs and a couple of Australian red claw crayfish. They are interesting creatures but as you say they are escape artists. I don't fancy meeting one of those wondering around the house at night. This ...

Welcome to ZP Zebrarandall. :D

In order to feed your new found obsession have a good read of what you can find on the forums. That would be the best thing to do first, there's a lot of good information to be had here.

Enjoy.

Nice to have you onboard KnaveTO. :D

You'll will gain some valuable experience with the plecs you currently have, more so if you manage to breed them. Good practice for when you get the Zebs.
