Ayep, light skimming of the sand will give you better results and less of the sand will be sucked up. Sadly it aint as simple as with gravel where you just stick in the vacume and move it around a bit. I think, without being able to check my records (at work at the mo) that I was roughly 8 weeks between my 1st and 2nd spawn. I'm wondering if the time between spawns will be shorter next time.
