Breeding Group for sale: UK

Hi, I have a breeding group of 8 adults for sale, 6 of which are wild caught. Looking for £1200. This group have bred several times, images available in my gallery. The reason I'm selling up is simply due to not having enough time to devote to them anymore so I feel they'd now be better off with som...

Well I don't think lighting is the cause of a lack of spawning...and by what your saying most of your set-up is fairly similar to mine, ie 50% RO 50% tap, arond the 85f mark although i have slighlty higher turnover of around the 35-40x mark but yours is definitely sufficient. The only thing that com...

I don't use lights in any of my zeb tanks but that's just my preference. I don't think lighting is really an issue as long as your zebs have adaquate places to hide and which are sufficiently dark for them to feel comfortable in. As someone said earlier, they'll hide during the day ie when the light...

i tested the water and the PH was five with 1.0 ammonia (using API test kit) my tap water is PH7.5 with high chloramine content I'm assuming the water that is ph 5 is out of the tank...if the water out of the tap is 7.5? Have you tested the water hardness? You don't need to add substrate, and depen...

I think the discrepency in growth rates comes down to the care they recieve from the owner. Daily water changes and small but regular feeds throughout the day seem to give far better growth results than the normal water changes and feeds which most people give. I know one breeder who gets their zebs...

I've deleted your post in this thread as it's no longer about the subject as hand but has instead, at least for you, turned into personal vendetta. I would ask that you don't post in this thread again.

If this thread diverts anymore than it has already it shall be closed.

plastic mac, perhaps you have enough tanks and space to keep fish for a year but plz get off your soap box and dont judge me or my situation. lots of people sell fry at 6 months, and some even earlier. its no wonder this forum is going down hill, its beginning to become a hostile and unpleasent pla...

As for the pectoral fins. Wow, you guys, sometimes I just have to pause and wonder... Is there a dictinary some where that says what a zebra pleco is supposed to look like? Is there an internationally recongize measurement of the perfect zebra pleco? Come on, think about it! If you state that they ...

While I have no intention of getting into a debate as to whether they are snub-nose or not as the photos shown aren't imo definitive proof (side shots would be required) I would agree with Dave that one or two imo seem to give the impression that they maybe snub-noses. Of course the camera may well ...

No lol, he certainly wouldn't. :)

I'd imagine it's just a pattern variant, albeit a slightly more varianted version than the usual ones we see but nothing more odd that that...pretty fish though. :)
