Two Zebras for sale advertised on TFF

I hope Rob doesn't mind me plugging the site, but as someone has advertised two zebras in Cornwall for what seems a very reasonable price I thought it may be of interest. I have placed a link below to the advert.

Some nice l236 available

This is not a deliberate plug just an observation which may be of interest. I visited Wildwoods in Enfield yesterday and they currently have some very nice looking what look to be L236. The colours on these fish can vary quite a lot and these fish do look very good indeed with lots of white and ther...

Breeding activity?

Howdy all My Zebs are starting to show signs of movement and I am interested to know what the early breeding moves are. I have a female who has forced her way into the cave and is currently stuck on the inside of the roof at the front of the cave with the male directly below. Is this typical? - I th...

Hi Des thanks for the info. Yes I am thinking about acquiring some - I think L Number fever is taking over in our household although I have no idea where the extra tanks are going or how I am going to hide them from the wife!

What kind of filtration do you use and what is the normal weekly feeding for the fish? Are you using 75%RO with the...

He has one or two dodgy looking negative feed back comments - no smoke without fire as they say - be careful if you bid.

I contacted this guy and said that I would take them. I have a couple of other fish buddies who are also after some so we would have spread them between us. It was interesting in that he basically said yes and I have been unable to contact him since. Trying to buy these fish privately is like enteri...

Well done Des, that must almost be a record number of fry for a Zebra spawn. You definitely have the magic touch. Well done.

Thanks for all the replies. McEve that really is a Zebra without any stripes! Des - I think I have three males and one female. When I collected the fish the male in question was very stressed due to a near disaster which was sadly the fault of the guy I bought them from(that's for another post!) - an...

Zebra losing its stripes

One of my males looks to have been in a scrap and one third of his body near the tail has become quite white with the stripes hardly showing. Does this happen much and what do you guys and girls do - treat with melafix or something or just leave them to recover normally. He doesn't look distressed a...
