Hi all, was planning on putting 5 or 6 cardinal tetras in with 6 zebs along with introducing a few otocinclus once im fully happy, would this be ok in a 24" x 12" x 15" fast flowing tank with pH of arround 6.5>7.0? lightly planted?

suggestions and other species that would be compatible would be greatly appriciated,

thanks, J.

Tankmates have been discussed several times before, here is one: http://www.zebrapleco.com/forum/viewtop ... t=tankmate

The ideal tankmate for Zebra is.. Zebra, depending of course what you want with them.

Ok thanks, that topic was a good read. They are young zebras at the moment and would be a long while before i try to breed them...

from some of the posts on that topic it seems that people keep both ottos and cardinals with their zebs :) , when i come to start to try to breed them, when they become sexually mature, i will do this in a single species set up.

thanks again, J.

I keep mine with two pairs of fancy guppies...well it used to be 2 pairs. The little rascals reproduce like snails! I wish my Zebras would do the same. :D
