HELP WITH THE SITE

OK guys I'm swallowing my pride here and asking for some help with the site.
From your previous posts and help with other matters I have come to realise that we have a few IT guru's out there.
As you are aware I am building a new site, but I am having a few problems with the technical side of things.
I am very familiar and practiced with html and flash......but when it comes to the forum side of things I know very little. i.e. how to create additional functions etc.
I know that if I took enough time out I could probably fumble (being the operative word) my way through but I'm not sure how successful the results would be, and to be honest I don't really have the time.
In short the new site will have the following areas.
Gallery where individuals can upload pics.
Chatroom
spawn submittion
The spawn submission is creating the most problems as i need to create something where registered users can add to a table which can then be queried or manipulated.
I initially thought of doing this in the forum by just apdating posts, but this would leave it very limited.
As for the gallery, i need to discuss this with vic at simplenet.co.uk, but i don't even know what i am asking!!!
I realise that you all like myself have busy schedules, but I would be grateful if anyone could give me some advice.

. The modifications for the gallery and what not are just scripts that you add in to the phpBB format so they utilize the same database, essentially. The spawning database might be able to be accomplished by something like that also, but I can't think of any of the mods I've seen off hand that would handle it. I"ll see if I can check into it. As always, if there's something I can do, just yell!
