Whisper Air Pumps

I have bubble wands placed in the back of my 55 gallon to make a wall of bubbles but I don't want to buy a pump and find out it doesn't work well. Are the Whisper Air Pump 100s a good model? I ask this because a pump came with the tank it works awful so I want to know if pumps are actually reliable ...

I said shrimp although i haven't yet found a shrimp that lived for long enough to be very helpful.
Any suggestions? I tried ghost shrimp but my LFS sells them as feeders so they didnt live long.

I personally agree with McEve its a matter of good business practice to make sure whoever you sell something to gets a quality product/fish.

Would you want to buy fish at $125 to have them all turn out to be snub noses?
